Here at Hawaiʻi Small Business Partners, we offer financial, managerial, environmental sustainability, and general business consulting to small businesses in Hawaiʻi. Our services are quick, affordable, and professional. We recognize that our Hawaiʻi-based and Hawaiʻi-minded clients have special interests in serving the local community and supporting responsible stewardship of our natural world in addition to thriving financially. We support our clients’ goals for people, planet, and profit, from linking them up with local non-profits and grant opportunities, to helping them to cut costs through cutting waste and seeking sustainable alternatives, to identifying opportunities for mutual support in other local businesses.

Benjamin Zenk
Co-Founder/Consultant
Benjamin Zenk is a co-founder and consultant at Hawai’i Small Business Partners. He received his PhD from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa in 2018 and an M.A. from the same in 2011. He has spent over a decade working as a university educator here in Hawai’i where he has taught philosophy, business, and management courses including critical thinking and reasoning, business ethics, environmental ethics, and introductory business.
Ben has also managed commercial and agricultural leases, co-founded and grown a successful small farm, offered pro bono consulting services in various sectors, led web architecture redesign and web content development for various institutions, developed and maintained e-commerce and product subscription platforms, and been contracted to develop courses in professional ethics.
He is thrilled to offer affordable consulting services to local businesses and is committed to expanding opportunities for local growth, sustainability, and more.
Jericho Sombrio
Co-Founder/Consultant
Jericho Sombrio is a co-founder and consultant at Hawai’i Small Business Partners. He was raised on the Big Island of Hawai’i and attended Honoka’a High School. He pursued his higher education at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, majoring in Business Marketing and graduating in 2012.
For the past 16 years, Jericho has worked with a locally-owned retail business with a national presence and millions of dollars in annual revenue. As the current VP of this company, he manages a massive team, facilitates client growth, maintains an effective web-presence and e-commerce platform, and implements growth through financial and managerial analysis and accounting. He has been a guest speaker in university courses and volunteers as a sound technician for a number of stage acts.
Leveraging his extensive experience and expertise, Jericho is enthusiastic about assisting small business owners in realizing their aspirations and taking their businesses to new heights.
